Canada's First Small c Liberal
Harper's big get, David Emerson claims that he let it be know to his constituents that he was a small c Liberal. So now that he is a Conservative Cabinet Minister, is he a small l Conservative? Me I think he is nothing more the a big O opportunist.

CTV was playing some clips from his campaign... you'd have an extremely hard time proving he's a small c Conservative based on his speeches.
If you listen to his constituents, it proves that we need to adopt the NDP's policy. If you want to cross the floor, you have to have a by-election.
For sure, the people of his riding thought they were voting for a liberal, and their second choice was a dipper.... if this man wants to serve as a conservative cabinet minister he should go back to his costituents and campaign as thus, and earn their blessing.... political opportunism should not be rewarded with cabinet posts, this man duped the people of his riding, pretty sure he will be tossed out next time around.... he is the Olevia Chow, Chow Chow comment guy as well....bad dude all around.
My bad, its was Klander who made the chow chow reference...emerson was the dude that said jack had a smile like a boiled dogs head... short term memory lose.
