Canada's Unusually Warm Winter Caused By Electioneering Hot Air?

But seriously folks what the hell is up with the weather... Its almost mid January and it was like 10 degrees here in Nova Scotia, and 14 in Toronto. Global warming is real folks........ But for some reason it doesn't seem so bad this time of year.

It's supposed to get real cold this weekend, but for the last week its felt like spring.

Last winter I was out everday trying to uncover the house. This year I've picked up the shovel maybe half a dozen times.

We did the whole 14 day synopes here in NS and it isn't supposed to get any colder then -5. I lived in Mtl for 9 years, this time of the year it is usually like -30 with a -40 windchill...the grass is green here in NS and today I saw crawling bugs....nuts.

Can one of you ask Jack Layton if he attends the annual Shouldice Clinic Patients Reunion? Described as a 'gala event' on the http://www.shouldice.com/patient.htm website, former patients get together at the Royal York Hotel for "dinner, entertainment, camaraderie" and oh yes, "an examination of their hernia repair".

I'm sure Jack Layton would be a popular and entertaining guest, but as he assumed Shouldice Clinic to be just a standard part of medicare, he may have overlooked this opportunity. In any case, you'll want to call your local hospital to find out when they're holding their 'gala event' and whether it features Polynesian Dancers, ventriloquists and of course, a Royal York or hospital quality dinner.

Randy.... jeepers we were just chatting about the weather.... as for the whole Jack private medicare thing well, that was something 1) that happened like 10 years ago, and 2) is a story that really didn't hold much traction... i mean shit what were the other two clowns in contention up to 10 years ago...think about it, if ya want to dig up 10 year old dirt, be prepared for what might be discovered on your side buddy.
